Amenities Include: Our two bedroom waterfront cottage provides rustic simplicity and the tranquil charm of life in the Maine woods, in an isolated spot away from the hustle and bustle of the highway (but only 3 miles away). There is, however, no sacrifice of basic comforts such as a comfortable queen-size bed, small second bedroom with 2 twin beds, fireplace and heater, hot shower and a furnished kitchen.
Outdoors, you can lounge in the Sky Chair, in the hammock, on our 12x12 tent platform 10 feet above the shoreline or on the cottage deck with a good book. If you prefer, either take a walk to Wolf Neck Farm and Wolf Neck State Park for delightful views of Casco Bay or hop in the old canoe or our two sea kayaks and explore the natural delights of Harraseeket Bay or cook at our outdoor fireplace.
If you’re ready for more, you’re only 3 miles from L.L. Bean and over 150 upscale outlet stores. Fresh seafood abounds in Freeport from gourmet to New England classic, with even more offerings in neighboring Portland and Brunswick.
